that is hilarious. i used to get so mad at my mom because she didn't shower as much as i thought she needed too (this was in high school/college). and now i am ashamed to admit, i am falling in to a "every third day" routine and it's scary. one, i rarely go anywhere that i have to look very presentable. two, i have too much other stuff to do. three, taking a shower and actually fixing my hair takes TIME. four, my husband doesn't mind as long as i brush my hair and teeth and don't have on pajamas every day:). so i feel you on this one?!
This is SO. TRUE! I mean, isn't it likened to a SPA treatment to enjoy a "normal" (longer than 2 minute) shower? So sad. But someday, we will look back and laugh- and mourn for the day when we were so busy with our little ones that we couldn't even fit in a shower. These ARE the days! :)
