In nearly 8 years of parenting, we have never been to Chuck E. Cheese. This really isn't something that we have been incidentally remiss in, but rather a deliberate decision. We have always opted for family outings in more wide open spaces with less noise, kids and video games. And, truth be known, we were chicken. That being said, however, we decided that today was the day we would bite the bullet and take the whole motley crew to see the big mouse and eat pizza. We had a blast!
Since Ken will be out of town on Grace's birthday next week, we wanted to do a fun family outing today to celebrate. The kids had sooo much fun, and so did we. I apologize for all the pictures, but just be thankful I didn't put them all on here.
Yes, we braved Chuck E. Cheese with 5 little ones under 8, and we lived to play another day! It was a great way to start Mother's Day weekend...just really, really enjoying my kids.

Wow- you held out for a LONG time- glad you had a good experience with it. We actually went tonight for the first time in ages and I really did have fun in spite of the ADD-making noise. P.S-love your blog header- so cute!
